Laminating stardboard main hull half

Whew.  What a long morning.. 🙂

Woke up a little after 5 this morning, had a few cups of coffee and then we went to work on the hull.  In just over 2 hours time, we slapped a little bog where some was needed at the keel curves, rolled out a little over 23 feet of fabric, laminated, and added the uni at the keel.  Rather quick paced, and it’s already in the 80’s at 0930.  My hope is that it will gel before any heat has a chance to put bubbles in, but time will tell.  There were a few small ones that we could not get which will have to be ground out and patched – the bog I put on had some ridges on it and got too hard by the time we made it that far aft.

All in all a good morning, and I now have a valid excuse for lots of bacon and sausage for breakfast 🙂
